CBT is part of ECS. Together we will find the obstacles in your life which are stopping you from reaching your goals. 

What?

 

Despite hard work and making a huge effort, we sometimes still don’t go all the way. Often times, we are not fully aware of the issues that prevent us from reaching our full potential. When that is the case, getting qualified help in sorting through our thoughts, emotions and feelings, can be the thing that gets us to our next level.

In CBT, we look for specific events that could have generated the challenges you are experiencing and would like to get past. One of the main goals in CBT, is to teach you how to manage, but also to accept and hold, the different feelings you might have. By learning new behavioural patterns through discussion, reflections and behaviour, we increase your understanding of the changes that are possible for you.

We can all learn how to build a good life and how to handle complex phenomena, such as thoughts and feelings, that might be hindering us from reaching our goals.

How?

 

As a therapist, I will be both your teacher, guide and coach. I will lead you through a combination of techniques that will help you recognise and understand your patterns of thinking and behaving.

​

There has been a lot of research involving CBT and the method is easy to understand and implement.

​

I also work with ACT-Acceptance and commitment therapy, which is referred to as the third-wave CBT. It is primarily  about identifying and taking direction towards what you think is important in life.

​

Whether your goal is having a pleasant rides or competing on a higher level, together we will sort through and map out what is stopping you from reaching your goals.
